Patrick Mahomes Keeps On Rolling With Four TD Passes in Chiefs 27-17 Win Over the Jaguars to Improve to 7-2

The Kansas City Chiefs winning ways continue as the team improved to 7-2 in week ten after a 27-17 home victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes threw all over the Jaguars defense, finishing the win with 331 yards and four touchdowns while also adding 39 yards on seven rushing attempts.

Mahomes was not selfish with his dynamic performance as he shared each touchdown with four different teammates; two receivers, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Kadarius Toney, each caught a TD from Mahomes, while two tight ends in all-pro Travis Kelce and Noah Gray each had a receiving touchdown in the game as well.

Something of note, the Chiefs did lose receiver Juju Smith-Schuster who suffered a concussion in the game and is out for the immediate future.

Speaking of Kelce, the superstar tight end added six receptions for 81 yards, along with his touchdown. Also contributing nicely on the offensive side for Kansas City was rookie running back Isiah Pacheco, who recently took over the RB1 spot in which he beat out Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Pacheco finished the contest with 82 yards on sixteen carries.

Young linebacker Willie Gay Jr. along with rookie cornerback Trent McDuffie led the way for the Chiefs defense; Gay finished the game with eight tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss, and a pass deflection, while McDuffie had two pass deflections along with seven tackles and a tackle for loss.

The Chiefs totaled five sacks in the game, and their defense showed some flashes of improvement throughout the contest, which will be needed if they hope to make a run for a Super Bowl this season.

As for Jacksonville, star wideout Christian Kirk and second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence connected on two touchdowns which added even more to the great resume the two have put together in their first year of action as teammates. The future is bright for the Jaguars, with head coach Doug Pederson leading the way.

The Jaguars will look to bounce back in week twelve at home against the Ravens after their week eleven bye.

The Chiefs will look to add another win in Los Angeles as they play against the Chargers in week eleven on Sunday Night Football.
