Peacock Premieres ‘Dr. Death’ Series On Thursday, July 29

Peacock TV’s newest medical drama series isn’t your typical Grey’s Anatomy or New Amsterdam type love-medicine show.

If you want to watch a medical series based on true events in Dallas, Dr. Death is the next binge-worthy show for you.

Dr. Death is based on Wondery’s hit podcast called DR. DEATH. The new series depicts the terrifying true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch (Joshua Jackson), a rising genius in the Dallas medical community.

Dr. Duntsch was a trusted and well-respected member of the Dallas medical community working on building an excellent neurosurgery practice when he was suddenly caught running into serious medical problems with his patients. Everyone that entered his operating room for complex spinal surgeries was left permanently wounded or dead.

Watch the events unravel as neurosurgeon, Robert Henderson (Alec Baldwin) and vascular surgeon Randall Kirby (Christian Slater) make it their mission to stop the insane Dr. Duntsch.

Written by Patrick Macmanus and executively produced by Jason Blum, Steve Tisch, and Marshall Lewy – this series explores the messed-up mind of Dr. Duntsch and the victims he collected. With Joshua Jackson playing the lead role, this charismatic and talented young surgeon is as smooth as ever with his work.

The first three episodes of this eight-episode original are available to stream on Peacock TV now. Catch the trailer for this new series below.
