PRETTYMUCH Reminds You That If You Love Something, Set It “Free” (Watch)

Fresh out of their newest EP, Smackables, boy group PRETTYMUCH released a music video for their track “Free!”

The music video displays the relationship between two people as they slowly transition from becoming best friends to lovers. The beginning starts off at the end, the pair said goodbye to one another as they part ways, and then it flashes back to when they were first friends. As the song continues, the montage displays them falling in love with each other, only to be brought apart.

“‘Free’ is one of the sweeter breakup songs we have ever written,” the group reveals, “It’s about having to let someone go because that’s what’s ultimately best for the relationship.”

The music video perfectly portrays the message of the music video in its own coming-of-age cinematic style.

After not releasing music for almost two years, the group returned to the spotlight with Smackables and they definitely did not disappoint. It is a fresh, new sound that is perfect for your next drive into the sunset.
