PSY and BTS’ SUGA have joined forces to create a smash hit that will be sure to get you on your feet!
PSY, who is most known for his viral hit “Gangnam Style” that dropped almost ten years ago, announced that he would be releasing his first full-length album titled, PSY 9th today (April 29).
To kick off his new era of music, the South Korean shared the new music video for the track, “That That” featuring BTS band member SUGA. The music video for “That That” takes on a western theme with classic PSY style. The “Gangnam Style” singer can be seen dancing and singing through the streets of the western town.
SUGA, who produced the track, is also featured in the music video, as he seemingly drops from the sky. He begins rapping as PSY says the catchy lyrics, “That That I like that.” The two then join forces to perform insane choreography while partying with each other.
Earlier this week, PSY shared a tweet talking about his experience collaborating with SUGA. The K-Pop singer talked about his experience in the industry and wanting to be approachable to younger K-Pop artists like SUGA.
SUGA was also featured in the clip and talked about how he was “nervous” meeting the experienced singer. But he revealed that when they began working it, “felt like working with a childhood friend, so it made the songwriting process that much more fun.”
