There’s a new artist to watch in the pop/punk scene, and it’s none other than Gavin Magnus.
After becoming an Internet sensation as a tween with a major label signing by the age of 12, the now 16-year-old — donning an early 2010s Justin Bieber look and a blackbear meets Machine Gun Kelly sound — is ready to show the world what he’s capable of with new music and swagger that is bound to make him the next multifaceted heartthrob.
“[My sound] is edgy and very authentic to who I am,” Gavin tells Celeb Secrets. “It paints a picture of my life and experiences with relationships well.”
In recent months, Magnus’ viral videos and catchy hooks have been flooding FYPs worldwide, with his clips earning him 206.3M likes and 6.3M followers on TikTok, 6.43M subscribers on YouTube and 2.3M followers on Instagram, along with studio time with multi platinum and two-time GRAMMY-nominated producer John Feldmann (Blink-182, Panic! At The Disco, 5 Seconds Of Summer). The Long Island, New York native also released his single “Psycho” back in September, which addresses the reality of toxic relationships and the conflicting emotions that follow.
After receiving an overwhelming response from both the track and its accompanying music video, then 16-year-old shared that there are no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The Big Noise artist took to Instagram last month to share that his new EP Blurry Eyes, is dropping on Friday, November 10, which will continue to push the industry towards innovation by connecting with listeners directly through engaging songs.
“You’ll have to listen [to the new project] while alone,” Gavin reveals. “It’s pretty deep.”

Celeb Secrets: By 12 years old, you were already signed to a major label. What inspired you to create in the music space? Did anyone influence you as a child?
Gavin Magnus: “I was heavily influenced by Justin Bieber from a young age. I was always surrounded by music growing up with my family.”
CS: We LOVE your pop rock sound. How would you describe your music style to others?
GM: “Its edgy and very authentic to who I am. It paints a picture of my life and experiences with relationships well.”
CS: What has your experience been like working with industry greats such as GRAMMY-nominated producer John Feldmann?
GM: “Working with Feldy is an amazing experience; from the catchy melodies to his detailed storytelling, its always a blast in the studio with him.”
CS: Fans are jammin’ out to “Psycho” everywhere and are obsessed with the music video you released alongside it. What was the process like for finding a visual theme to match this up-beat song?
GM: “The theme was created with me and my mom. We’re always collaborating on ideas and creatives together, so putting this video together with her and my whole team was a dream come true.”

CS: If you could collaborate with any other musical artist for a song of yours, who would it be?
GM: “I’d love to collaborate with Drake or Justin Bieber. Those would be an absolute dream!”
CS: What are the rest of your plans for 2023?
GM: “I’ll be on the road touring plus an EP is dropping in November.”
CS: We are SO excited for the album on the way…Are there any deets you can share with your fans about the upcoming drop?
GM: “Yes listen to it while alone. It’s pretty deep.”
CS: Do you have a favorite lyric of all time from your music?
GM: “Don’t you say you wanna run away if you don’t mean it.”
