There’s a new teen on the rise named Ayden Mekus and Celeb Secrets is sharing everything you need to know about him before he becomes the next Internet star-turned-household name.
The 15-year-old has his hands in almost everything, as he’s an actor, social media influencer and budding musician. After creating content YouTube and TikTok, Mekus amassed a fanbase of over 6 million followers that support him and his endeavors daily. He’s even a member of The Squad and has teamed up with Dhar Mann Studios to make original, “life-changing” videos.
After building a huge platform for himself, Ayden decided to use it for good by helping spread positivity through his clothing line Positive Choice Apparel. Filled with apparel that have sayings like “Be a Buddy Not a Bully,” the 15-year-old hopes that he, along with his fans, can help the anti-bullying movement.

Celeb Secrets: Thank you for chatting with us! Can you introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself?
Ayden Mekus: “My name is Ayden Mekus. I live in Burbank and am a 15-year-old YouTube Influencer who is passionate about what I do. Daily I work on my craft and myself to get better with the purpose of helping others through the messages I share in my YouTube videos. I have an enormous amount of passion for creating the best possible videos, and my positivity messages have helped so many people feel empowered. I love getting comments on my YouTube videos or DMs from fans, sharing their story about how their life has been changed by what I said.”
CS: What has it been like working with Dhar Mann Studios and do you have a favorite video you’ve created with them?
AM: “Dhar Mann Studios is a video production company aimed at creating positive content for the social media generation with short, motivational videos. My expectations were high from Dhar Mann Studios, and they have met them. Working there feels like family, as everyone is talented and has a respectful personality. There are so many positive things to note about Dhar Mann Studios and I have loved every minute of working with them.
This company has changed my life. I love the company, the mission, the team, the fun we all have, and how much I am pushed to success. Dhar really cares about everyone, and it shows a lot. I feel proud to be a part of such a creative and talented team.

CS: What is it like being a part of “The Squad?” What is your favorite memory with “The Squad?”
AM: “It has been an experience in so many ways. Filming pranks, challenges and crush related videos every week has helped me to grow my acting and people related skills. As for a favorite memory my answer would have to be that it is difficult to pinpoint just one or two, because there have been several memories. One that does stand out was our trip to Hawaii. It was my first time ever to go to Hawaii, and to do it with my fellow squad members made it more special. I am thankful for my teen friends who are there for me and share good times, creating lasting friendships.”
CS: Tell us about your apparel line Positive Choice. What inspired you to create the line? Kids being bullies.
AM: “That is really what started me on the path of anti-bullying. While attending middle school, I saw so much bullying that took place, it happened to me as well, and that was what drove me to find a way to help stop bullying. My shirts all have a positive message, and it’s a message that I hope many people get to see when someone is wearing a shirt: ‘Be a Buddy Not a Bully.’ Being bullied through all middle school was hard and made me feel lonely. I overcame it in several ways. One was by getting into acting. Acting gave me a way to start spreading an anti-bullying message to everyone, and with a positivity message as well. The more I became known, the more people began to see my message. I was surprised to hear directly from fans on how much my messages meant to them. That made me feel fantastic.”
CS: What other projects are you currently working on that you’re excited to share?
AM: “I just recently started music and signing lessons and look forward to producing good content. I am continuing to pursue my acting and YouTube career, and have some upcoming projects.”
CS: Lastly, we are Celeb Secrets – can you share a secret talent of yours?
AM: “Let me think on that one………………OK, I am currently working on a new song, my very first, called ‘Daydream.’ It just went though a small revision, and I plan to release it soon. It’s actually a song that I wrote for someone special, someone dear to my heart.”
