Rihanna fans are going to have to wait a little longer for an album, because the songstress is busy focusing on her Fenty empire.
From Fenty Skin and Fenty Beauty to Savage X Fenty, the self-made billionaire continues to expand her business ventures. Legal documents were filed back in March, trademarking Fenty Hair, which, according to E! News, will include various products like hair bands, bows, scrunchies, hair extensions, and more.
The Fenty brand has been widely successful, launching in 2017 to create a cosmetic line based on inclusivity. The brand, for example, includes foundations that come in 50 different shades with even harder-to-find darker foundations for women of color.
With a net worth of 1.7 billion, Fenty has helped the music artist turned business mogul become the world’s wealthiest female artist, second to Oprah Winfrey and the first billionaire Barbados native.
While fans are excited about the Fenty business expansion, others are feeling anxious for the music artist to release an album due to not having released one since 2016’s ANTI. One fan tweeted, “These are not the kind of tracks we asked for Riri, but if Fenty is selling, we are buying.” Another fan tweeted, “Rihanna will release Fenty Tombstones before she releases an album.”
In July of 2020, she told Entertainment Tonight, “I am always working on music and when I am ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it’s gonna come out. And you’re not going to be disappointed when it happens. It’s going to be worth it.”
