Vanessa Morgan is a mom!
According to E! News, the 28-year-old Riverdale star has welcomed a baby boy with her estranged husband, Michael Kopech.
“Vanessa had the baby, and Michael is with her as well,” the source shared with E!. “They’re both thrilled.”
As of now, Vanessa and the 24-year-old pro-baseball player haven’t revealed their son’s name nor the date of birth.
The actress first announced her pregnancy back in July 2020 via Instagram, where she shared adorable content of her gender reveal party, which revealed that she was expecting a baby boy.

“I do want to keep this chapter of my life private but did want to be the first to share the news. I am overjoyed to be welcoming my baby boy into the world this January 💙,” she said.
It was only three days later when the newly wedded couple announced that they had filed for divorce in the month prior. It came as a shock for fans as the couple had just gotten married earlier that year in January.
For any Riverdale fans worried about what this means for the show, don’t worry, Vanessa’s pregnancy was written into the show. The actress thanked the show’s producers and writers for doing this on her Instagram.
