Rolling Loud California 2025 took over Hollywood Park this past weekend, delivering a larger-than-life hip-hop experience packed with iconic performances, surprise guests, and festival-firsts. From A$AP Rocky belaying down from a helicopter to Playboi Carti bringing out The Weeknd, the festival kept hip-hop lovers on their toes.

Rolling Loud kicked off with a bang as A$AP Rocky made his first live appearance since his “not guilty” verdict of two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm in Los Angeles. In true Rocky fashion, he entered in the most dramatic way possible — floating over the crowd from a helicopter spotlight with the initials D.B.D. (which stands for Don’t Be Dumb, the title of his forthcoming album) before descending onto the stage. Performing three songs mid-air, including an unreleased track that’s reportedly titled “All Black (Stole Ya Flow),” he instantly set the tone for an unforgettable weekend.
Once on stage, he wasted no time running through hits like “A$AP Forever,” “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)” and “Tailor Swif.” Skepta later joined him for a high-energy performance of their smash hit “Praise the Lord (Da Shine)” before performing “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2.”
His set wasn’t just about music; he took a moment to address recent immigration policies, show support for California wildfire victims, and give a subtle nod to Rihanna — who was spotted vibing in the crowd with Blue Ivy Carter. He also debuted brand new music from Don’t Be Dumb, including the upcoming Metro Boomin’-produced single “Your Honor.” As a tribute to his late friend A$AP Yams, he closed the set with an emotional performance of “Yamborghini High,” ending his return to the stage on a high note.

Peso Pluma made history as the first Latin artist and non-hip-hop act to ever headline Rolling Loud, proving that the festival is evolving alongside the culture. His set was a star-studded affair, bringing out Rich The Kid, Ty Dolla $ign, El Alfa, and Eladio Carrión.
Meanwhile, YG made waves by performing “FDT” alongside a Donald Trump impersonator, and Sexyy Red surprised fans by bringing out 03 GREEDO. Rising stars like IAN, Peysoh, and BossMan Dlow set the stage early, while heavy hitters Ski Mask The Slump God, Larry June, and DDG kept the momentum high into the night.

If fans thought Day 1 was wild, Day 2 raised the bar even higher. Playboi Carti took over the Gopuff Stage, debuting tracks from his newly released album MUSIC while surprising the crowd with a guest appearance from The Weeknd.
This marked The Weeknd’s first-ever Rolling Loud performance, instantly making it one of the most talked-about moments of the festival. Skepta also joined Carti for “Praise the Lord (Da Shine),” while streamer Kai Cenat livestreamed the entire set, giving fans a front-row seat to history in the making. Cenat was also invited on stage during Carti’s monstrous performance, where he was gifted a YVL chain from the Atlanta-bred rapper.

Earlier in the day, Luh Tyler took the stage with Jamie Foxx watching from the photo pit, and Jesse Jo, Frankie, and Kristian Stark were spotted at Ken Carson’s set, where he played the unreleased track “Ain’t Playin.” Fellow Opium artists Destroy Lonely and Homixide Gang delivered stellar sets.
Soulja Boy brought the nostalgia, hyping the crowd with throwback hits like “Kiss Me Through The Phone” and “Crank That (Soulja Boy),” while L.A. favorite Blxst shut down the Zig-Zag Stage with his smooth R&B-infused set. Ice Spice commanded the crowd with her viral hits, proving why she’s one of the hottest names in rap right now. Underground hip-hop lovers found their haven at the D’Ussé Stage, where rising acts like Nettspend, Molly Santana, and Skaiwater kept the crowd lit.

Celeb Secrets‘ editors were onsite, vibing to the music and checking out all the activations Rolling Loud had to offer. The team made sure to stop by the SHEIN activation for a next-level festival experience, where they got a first-hand look at the exclusive perks and stylish offerings keeping festival-goers looking and feeling their best.

Rolling Loud wasn’t just about the music — it was an immersive cultural experience. Attendees got glammed up at Bunny’s Bae Bar, scored free haircuts at Loud Cutz, and even got inked at the festival’s Tattoo Parlour. Boys Lie launched an exclusive Rolling Loud merch line, creatively directed by Bunny Zingler, cementing its place as the go-to fashion brand for festival baddies. And let’s not forget the food — whether it was a post-mosh refuel with Dave’s Hot Chicken or a bite of the legendary 10/10 Burger, Rolling Loud had all the cravings covered.
As the final beats dropped and the weekend came to a close, one thing was clear — Rolling Loud California 2025 delivered one of the most iconic festivals in hip-hop history.
