Rosanna Pansino Transports Us to a Sugary Wonderland While Hosting Her Own Baking Show “Baketopia” (Exclusive)

Rosanna Pansino is bringing her bubbly personality and baking expertise to the small screen with her new series Baketopiaand we can’t get enough of it!

The 12-episode series, which is now streaming on HBO Max, features brilliant bakers taking on viral-worthy challenges in a larger-than-life baking wonderland complete with every ingredient and tool a baker could dream of. In each episode, competitors fill their carts with unique ingredients to create trendsetting, delectable desserts in hopes of impressing Rosanna and her “cake council” to win $10,000.

In a time where one of the top the self-care phenomenons include “stress baking,” Baketopia is the perfect show to brighten up your day and put you to the test by either recreating its featured dishes or whipping up something completely on your own. It truly makes watching the craft of baking tasty treats almost as enjoyable as eating them, ultimately taking the cake (yes, every pun was intended) to being your new favorite baking show.

“I think what I love most about the show is that it’s not a ‘gotcha show.’ When we were casting, we casted bakers who were really talented. I get to showcase other bakers’ skills and abilities, and the whole world gets to see what they can do. And that’s something I really love about it,” Rosanna tells Celeb Secrets in an exclusive interview.

“We are challenging bakers to not only make these gorgeous dishes in a limited amount of time, but to make trendy desserts. And that’s something I’ve really enjoyed watching.”

You can get a sweet taste of what to expect by watching the premiere episode in FULL below:

Encouraging each competitor to “make the trend” rather than follow it, viewers can expect to be transported into a sugary wonderland of their dreams as the entire set is filled with every ingredient ever needed to bake the best cake of all time. Rosanna also delivers with out-of-this-world outfits throughout the series, as they are inspired by some of her favorite dishes she’s baked over time.

“The company we worked with trusted me with wardrobe decisions, and I wanted to have a little bit of fun with it. So instead of sometimes doing just a traditional dress — one of my outfits, you’ve seen it on the poster — I look like I’m a cotton candy clown. And that was intentional,” she shares.

“I was so obsessed with the idea of the show that I went all in. Each pair of shoes that I’m wearing match the outfits and look like an edible food. It was so much fun and another way that I could just be creative.”
