You may know Rupi Kaur from her best-selling book Milk and Honey and if you’re anything like me, you have probably read it over a thousand times because it’s just so raw.
If you haven’t read this book (which you should check it out) you may know her from her Instagram which has 1.4 million followers and where she shares beautifully written poems along with her illustrations.
In 2014, the Canadian-based poet released her book Milk and Honey and it instantly became a hit, which eventually led to a re-release in October 2015 under Andrew McMeel Publishing! It is a #1 New York Times Bestseller and has sold over 1.5 million copies. Kaur split the book into four chapters each one filled with poems that hit us right in the feels all about love, loss, abuse, and the healing. I think it’s very relatable to many people and it helps us get through those really tough times. This book speaks to our soul so when we found out she was releasing a second book we couldn’t contain our excitement!
She recently took to Instagram to announce her highly anticipated second book titled The Sun and Her Flowers is set to release worldwide on October 3rd, 2017.
