The singer took to social media to announce the release of her fifth studio album. Carpenter posted a photo of the album cover along with the caption, “MY NEW ALBUM ‘emails i can’t send’ IS OUT JULY 15th +new song vicious out tonight! thank u for being patient with me :’) i think it’s worth the wait presave in bio.”

It has been several years since the singer’s last release back in 2019 with the album, Singular Act II. This long-awaited album, emails i can’t send, will include 13 tracks including the singer’s previously released singles, “Fast Times” and “Skinny Dipping”.
Fans also won’t have to wait long for new music from the singer, because she revealed in the caption that she would be releasing her new song, “Vicious,” tonight at midnight!
Carpenter shared a snippet of the new song in an unusual way. She posted a TikTok with a screenshot of a tweet with an announcement of her new album. However, a comment was made about her album title where a Twitter user replied, “‘albums i can’t sell’ would’ve been a better title.” You can see Carpenter mouth the words, “What the f***”.
The singer captioned the post, “be an artist they said it will be fun they said.”

Despite the hateful tweet, Carpenter attached a snippet of the new song, “Vicious.” Fans will be able to officially listen to the full song starting tonight (June 30) at midnight.
The album, emails i can’t send, will then drop on streaming platforms on July 15th! Fans can presave the album here.
