The New York Jets exciting season continued in week nine in their 20-17 win against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. The Jets yet again proved the world wrong, as their defense dominated the high-powered Bills offense by sacking Allen five times and intercepting him once.
Rookie cornerback Sauce Gardner led the Jets defense; Gardner had seven tackles on the day to go along with a pass deflection and interception. Also starring on the defense for New York was former Alabama star linebacker C.J. Mosley who had six tackles and a sack in the game. The Jets once again proved they are a legit playoff team in this huge division win.

On the offensive side of the ball, the Jets were able to run all over the Bills; rushing 174 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries; the leading runners in the game for the Jets were second-year pro Michael Carter, who ran twelve times for 76 yards a touchdown and newly-acquired James Robinson who had thirteen carries for 48 yards.
As for Buffalo, their lone two touchdowns on the day came on the ground from Allen; however, the Jets completely shut down the Bills passing offense as Allen ended the game throwing for 205 yards to go along with two interceptions and no touchdowns. This is Buffalo’s second divisional loss of the year, as their first loss came against the Dolphins.
The Jets will look to improve to 7-3 in week eleven in another divisional game against the Patriots after their week ten bye.
As for the Bills, they will look to bounce back at home against the 7-1 Minnesota Vikings.
