Ten consecutive wins for Scotty James!
The 25-year-old professional boarder from Australia has just accomplished the unthinkable: ten consecutive victories in halfpipe competitions by winning Monster Energy Men’s Snowboard SuperPipe at X Games Aspen 2020 on Thursday (January 23).

James’ tricks included a switch backside double 1260, cab 1080, frontside 900 grabbing nose and a double backside 1260. Silver went yet again to Yuto Totsuka and third was Swiss rider Jan Scherrer with his first X Games medal.
James is nearly untouchable at this point, making every trick and move look simple and effortless.
Celeb Secrets caught up with James just moments after he took home the gold at the base of Buttermilk Mountain on Thursday night. If his snowboarding wasn’t enough to impress us, James’ kind and humble spirit sure did.
When asked about how he manages to keep a good head on his shoulders in the midst of being regarded as the top snow boarder in the world, James responded:
“Why I started snowboarding is super important, and I think if I stick to the fundamentals and be true to myself and what I like about snowboarding and the halfpipe, I can continue doing what I do.”
