Steven McBee, Jr. & Jesse McBee Open Up About Risking It ALL in New Reality Series “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys” (Exclusive)

It’s time to saddle up with your best cowboy hat, as you’re about to see what really goes down behind the scenes of farming and ranching thanks to Peacock‘s latest offering The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys.

The 10-episode thrilling docuseries, which premiered last Monday (March 11) on the streaming giant, dives into the operations of McBee Farm and Cattle, which is located in rural Missouri and on the brink of becoming a billion-dollar business… or a financial disaster. It all depends on the decision from a venture capital film of over $100 million.

“It was cool for us was to be able to explain what we do and why it’s so important to us, [as well as] show people that maybe don’t know what happens on an actual farming and ranch operation that aspect of our business,” Jesse McBee tells Celeb Secrets host Juliet Schroder exclusively in a virtual interview.

“I’m really hoping all of America gets to see how we are as a family, how we work together, the good times and the bad,” Steven McBee, Jr. adds. “We laid it all out there for the world to see, and with that comes a little bit of nervousness.”

The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys centers around Steve McBee, the patriarch of the family and recent divorcee, who started McBee Farm and Cattle. And while things seem to be running smoothly, the farmer and businessman’s lifestyle may be the culprit of the farm’s undoing.

Steve is in a rocky romantic relationship with McBee‘s CFO, Galyna, and continues to sleep with other women through it all, creating tension with his eldest son and McBee‘s CEO, Steven Jr., who is known as the business-minded heir apparent. Steve has three other sons — Cole, Jesse and Brayden — who also help on the farm, and can be described as the underdog who works hard in the field, the quiet cowboy, and the one who has the least interest in farming, respectively.

With the farm on the line, three of Steve’s four sons, Steven Jr., Jesse, and Cole, all vie to take over the farm when he retires, causing conflict within the family. Regardless of what happens with the farm and its future owner, Jesse assures Celeb Secrets that at the end of the day, family is family, and they will always support each other no matter what.

“I think family, even before this show, has always been our biggest thing. We’ve worked together for a lot of years — basically our entire life growing up — and it’s something that we realize is the most important thing besides the money, besides whatever comes from this show. At the end of the day we’ll always have our family, we’ll always have our brothers to go to and talk to and kind of rely on if we are ever have any problems,” he shares.

“I think and I hope that the audience realizes that that is about as real and authentic as as it can get, that we really are a family. We love each other, we come together… we have our fights just like any family does, especially working together, but we always come together at the end of the day,” he continues.

And while the guys “laid it all out there for people to see,” there were some intense moments that didn’t make the cut.

“[Calah] and I had our ups and downs throughout the season, and I think you’ll see a Nashville trip that exemplifies that. I may have had some regrettable actions during that trip,” Steven laughs.

“In episode three or four when we’re down in Fort Work, [Cole] and I — before we go to the bar — we actually got into a full on fight that our dad had to break up. It was not caught on camera and we got way too drunk,” Jesse recalls. “The both got too drunk too early and were about to fist fight outside of a rodeo in Fort Worth and the camera has just left to go set up at the next spot. My dad was physically forcing them apart to keep them from fighting,” Steven adds.

“When we got to the bar, that was our makeup shot. It’s like, all right, we’re good. Let’s move on,” Jesse laughs.
