Celeb Secrets hit up the season two FYC premiere at the Paramount Studios Lot in Los Angeles last Friday (May 9) and caught up with the fierce, fabulous, and feuding cast of Hulu’s hit unscripted series. Let’s just say: the sisterhood may be in crisis, but the content? Heavenly.
After season one blew up faster than a group chat with a scandal, the ladies of Mormon #MomTok are back for round two — and this time, it’s even more unhinged. An OG swinger makes a surprise return, alliances shift like lip gloss in a heatwave, and the friend group’s faith, friendship, and filtered perfection are all put on blast.
When asked what moments they hope made it into season two, Miranda McWhorter delivered the quote of the night: “I hope the coochie joint makes it on the show,” she tells Celeb Secrets on the red carpet.
What exactly that means? Your guess is as good as ours — but Miranda teased it’s worth the watch.
On a deeper note, Layla Taylor hopes her mental health journey is highlighted. “I dipped into my mental health story, and I’m crossing my fingers the audience sees that vulnerable side of me,” she shared sweetly — reminding fans that behind the glam and gossip, these girls are human too.
Mayci Neeley and Mikayla Matthews also spilled on a hilariously traumatic car wash scene that better make the final cut. “Makayla is terrified of car washes. I was sobbing laughing, and she was sobbing because she was scared,” Mayci told us. Honestly? We need this footage IMMEDIATELY.

Demi Engemann jumped in to say it sounded more intense than the party, adding, “No epidural. Truly. It was awful.” Whitney laughed it off but made it clear — real-life motherhood > reality TV mess (sometimes).
Speaking of husbands, Demi gave props to her rock, Brett, for defending her during a heated moment caught on camera. “He’s the biggest supporter and protector. It’s hot,” she joked, with Whitney chiming in, “I’m getting turned on too.”

Taylor Frankie Paul echoed that sentiment, opening up about the emotional toll of the past year. “It was hell,” she admitted. “There’s a lot that’s consequences of my own actions, and a lot I had no control over. But the more you process and open up, the better.”

When asked to describe season two using a movie title, Taylor, Jen Affleck and Jessi Ngatikaura couldn’t help but go with Crazy, Stupid, Love. And honestly? Accurate. There’s heartbreak, healing, hookups (allegedly), and enough twists to keep your FYP on fire all summer.

No Secret Lives convo would be complete without, well, secrets. Taylor dropped a bomb that she has siblings she’s never met (!), Mikayla and Mayci shaded each other’s spray tan smells and supplement habits, and Demi casually mentioned Whitney’s… ketamine use? (We’re assuming she meant for medical/recreational purposes — TBD.) And let’s not forget Miranda’s mysterious “Purple Nurple” moment. The girls are nothing if not iconically chaotic.
