Selena Gomez proved to be a true 90s kid when she took to Instagram to share a video of her as a child singing over Britney Spears’ “Don’t Go Knockin’ on My Door.” The post was captioned “the hustle was real.” And let’s not forget the production quality with a Windows Media background. Truly iconic.

To make matters even better, Spears commented, “This is the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen 😱❤️💃🏼 !!!!!”

Way back in 2011, Gomez tweeted, “I am so obsessed with @britneyspears new record!! Soooo amazing!” about the Femme Fatale album. In 2015, Spears also gushed over Gomez’s music when discussing being free from makeup for the first time in her life. “As Selena Gomez says ….. the world can be a nasty place … kill them with kindness … GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!”

All the love between these two singers has started a campaign for Gomez and Spears to collab on a song. For those who don’t know, Selena Gomez and Britney Spears actually have recorded a song together.

They sang on the song “Hands” in response to the Pulse shooting in Orlando in 2016. The song also featured 24 more artists such as Jennifer Lopez, P!nk, and Jason Derulo.

But we want a new collab with the duo and apparently, Britney does too. In response to a tweet about the two having recorded a duet together, Spears tweeted “Technically, yes… But when are we working on our actual duet @selenagomez? 💋”

I spy a collaboration in the future! What do you think? Let us know by dropping a comment below or by sending us a tweet at @celebsecrets
