Jake Miller brought his fall headlining tour to the Encore Events Center at iPlay America on Wednesday evening (November 12) in Freehold, NJ and CelebSecrets4U was on-site to enjoy the show and interact with fans.
The 21-year-old rapper opened his set with his classic track “Collide.” Jake’s fans, better known as his “Millertary,” were snapping photos on their iPhones and singing along to Jake’s catchy raps from songs such as “Hollywood,” “High Life,” “A Million Lives,” and “Me and You.” As far as covers go, Jake put his own twist on Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” and in our opinion, he absolutely nailed it.
Jake also performed songs off his new EP Lion Heart including “Ghost,” “Dazed and Confused,” and “Party in the Penthouse.” He closed his hour-long set with his current single “First Flight Home.”
The last time we saw Jake perform live was at his CityWalk concert with labelmate Jason Derulo back in April 2014. Since then, we can totally see that Jake has matured as an artist and as a performer. His interaction with his fans while onstage was one of our favorite parts of the night (aside from that awesome Iggy Azalea cover, obviously).
Jake Miller will be hitting the road again at the end of the month. To see if he’s coming to your city, make sure to head over to jakemiller.com. Jake’s concert is definitely something you do not want to miss!
