Stephen Lang Reprises His Iconic Role for “Blind Man 2” – Watch the Trailer

Stephen Lang sent a chill down our spines with his blind-man performance in Don’t Breathe back in 2016. Now, just 5 years later, the producers of the thriller have developed a sequel to follow the chilling events that took place in the first film.

Co-written by Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues, this home invasion-style movie just dropped the trailer for the second film today, June 30, and it looks even more thrilling than the first.

Don’t Breathe follows the events that unfold between a group of friends and an old blind man whose home they break into. Underestimating what the old man is capable of, the friend group gets trapped in his house by him and chased around throughout the movie.

Produced by Ghost House Pictures and Good Universe and distributed by Sony Pictures, the film had audiences on the edge of their seats, so with that being said, why not make an even scarier sequel!

Don’t Breathe 2 will follow the life of the blind man several years after the events, living in an isolated cabin with a young girl orphaned from a house fire. A group of criminals kidnaps the girl and the blind man must leave the safety of his cabin to rescue her.

The first Don’t Breathe featured a star-studded cast, including Jane Levy, Dylan Minnette, Daniel Zovatto, and others. The sequel is set to star  Bobby Schofield, Christian Zagia, Rocci Williams, Stephanie Arcila, Diana Babnicova, among other noteworthy names.

Don’t Breathe 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on August 13, 2021. You can catch the trailer to this highly anticipated follow-up film below, and let us know what you think of it by either leaving a reaction at the bottom of the post or by sending us a tweet at @celebsecrets.
