When is Super Bowl LVII?

Super Bowl LVII will air tonight, February 12, with kickoff is beginning 6:30 p.m. ET. It will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona — home of the Arizona Cardinals — and it will be the third time the stadium has hosted the Big Game, with previous being in 2008 and 2014.

How can I watch the Big Game?

You can watch the Eagles and Chiefs battle it out on FOX. If you don’t have cable, you can also stream it on the FOX Sports App for FREE or on YouTube TV.

What makes Super Bowl LVII special?

This Super Bowl is particularly groundbreaking, as it is the first to feature two Black starting quarterbacks and the first Black woman to coach in the Super Bowl. Mahomes and Hurts finished first and second in this season’s MVP voting, respectively, marking the fourth time the top two MVP vote-getters will face each other in the Super Bowl.

It is also the first Super Bowl to pit two brothers against each other on the field, as Eagles center Jason Kelce and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce are set to cause many fights within their family on game day. Previously, Jim and John Harbaugh faced off as head coaches in Super Bowl XLVII, marking the first time two brothers coached against each other in a Super Bowl.

Andy Reid will certainly play a big part in this year’s finale, both as head coach of the Chiefs and as an ambivalent reminder to Eagles fans everywhere. Previously, Reid was the coach of the Eagles from 1999 to 2012 and led the team to the Super Bowl in 2005, ultimately losing to the New England Patriots.

These two teams were the best in the league all year, clinching the No. 1 seed in their respective conferences and marching their way to the final. The Chiefs have the best offense in terms of yards per game while the Eagles have the best defense, racking up a league-high 70 sacks in the process.

Will there be a Tailgate Party?

Once again, the NFL is partnering with TikTok to put on “the ultimate Super Bowl pregame celebration”: the TikTok Tailgate. Hosted by Allison Rochell and her husband, Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Issac Rochell, you can join headliners Jason Derulo and The Black Keys for a pregame filled with musical performances, TikTok creators and special guests from the NFL.

You can catch the TikTok Tailgate live on the @NFL’s TikTok account before the Big Game. Special guests include Liza Koshy, Josh Richards and Carla Rockmore.

Besides Rihanna, who else is performing?

Before kickoff, country singer Chris Stapleton will be performing the National Anthem. He will be joined by Babyface, who will be singing “America the Beautiful”, and Sheryl Lee Ralph, who will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

This will also be the first Super Bowl with an all-women flyover. In honor of the 50th anniversary of women flying in the U.S. Navy, the flyover at the end of the national anthem will include seven female aviators operating the aircraft, which include two F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter jets, one F-35C Lightning II stealth combat aircraft and one EA-18G Growler electronic attack jet.

What commercials should I look out for?

If you’re among those who love the Super Bowl for its commercials, look no further. Stars such as longtime Chiefs fan Paul Rudd, Kevin Hart, Serena Williams and Jack Harlow are set to grace the TV during breaks. There is also a much-anticipated return for two “Breaking Bad” stars in a promo for Popcorners.

Don’t forget — Super Bowl LVII airs LIVE from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ TODAY, February 12th @ 6:30PM ET/3:30PM PT on FOX.
