Surf, Sun, and Secrets: “House of Sims” Season 2 Premieres With a Splash on OFTV (Exclusive)

The much-anticipated second season of House of Sims, the reality series that captivated audiences with its unique blend of glamour, family drama, and the pursuit of the American dream, is set to return with more glitz, glam, and drama.

Led by the indomitable Chloe Sims, former star of The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE), this reality series takes viewers across the pond from Essex to the sun-soaked streets of Los Angeles, showcasing the Sims family’s adventures and misadventures in the City of Angels.

“My dream was always to move to LA. I just had it in my head that I wanted to move across the world one day, and see what it was like. I was given the opportunity by OFTV to create a show and they asked me what I wanted to do, and I said I wanted to move to America. So they said let’s do it, and that was it really!” Chloe tells Celeb Secrets exclusively in a virtual interview.

Season two promises an even deeper dive into the lives of Chloe, her sisters Demi and Frankie, brother Charlie, and his fiancée Georgia Shults, as they navigate the highs and lows of LA life.

“I came here a bit blind to be honest. I just assumed everything was going to be the same as England. I knew there would be a bit of a difference, but I didn’t realize how much and what I was going to face,” says Sims.

From taking surf lessons on the beach to gearing up for Georgia’s extravagant bachelorette party, the Sims family is out to prove that they can conquer anything – as long as they’re together. “I am absolutely petrified on the sea, and leading up to this moment [my brother] had been sending me videos of this Malibu artist who uses these drones to film people surfing or paddling with all of these sharks around them. I can honestly say I was just waiting for one of these sharks to launch out at me. It was the scariest moment. I am never doing that again,” Chloe tells CS.

Yet, it’s not all sunshine and surfing; the trailer teases tension and drama, hinting at the pressures of LA life taking its toll on the close-knit family.

“You have to have a strong chin. It’s not easy to drama with your loved ones and to be creating a show, and then what comes with that…It’s not easy,” Chloe tells us.

But “House of Sims” is more than just a reality show. It’s a glimpse into the journey of a family leaving their comfort zone for new horizons, making it relatable to anyone who’s ever dreamed of a fresh start.

The 42-year-old shared that filming this season was “a quite a lot,” with the family getting to “go outside our comfort zones.”

“There was a lot of drama which will be quite hard to relive, but, all in all, it was a really good season,” she says, which also includes guest appearances from other TOWIE alumni, adding an extra layer of intrigue and excitement.

The announcement of season two follows the success of the first season, which not only garnered a loyal fanbase but also secured a licensing deal with Netflix UK. This move signifies the show’s widespread appeal and the Sims family’s rising star in the entertainment world.

Keily Blair, CEO of OnlyFans, expressed enthusiasm for the new season, highlighting its potential to resonate with viewers in the UK and worldwide.

“House of Sims has proven to be a huge hit with viewers in the UK and across the world, and we’re excited to see people’s reactions to an even more dramatic second season. We’re continuing to strengthen our line-up of reality shows and unscripted series, providing more opportunities for our creators to grow their audience and making OFTV the home of incredible new content for our fans,” Blair shared in a statement.
