A history-making tribal council concluded the episode and left EVERYONE on the edges of their seats!
Upon entering the premises, three members of the Ratu tribe made the shocking decision to forgo their votes. Jamie Lynn Ruiz and Matthew Grinstead-Mayle each played their Shot in the Dark, sacrificing their vote for a one-in-six chance at immunity, however, only one was successful.
For the first time in Survivor history, someone’s Shot in the Dark worked! Jamie fortunately drew the right scroll, ultimately making her immune from the vote AND making her the first contestant in Survivor history to gain safety from her Shot in the Dark.
Lauren decided to utilize her Bank My Vote Advantage, also causing her to refrain from voting at this tribal council in order to have an extra vote at the one to follow.
This leaves only three Ratu tribe members with the ability to vote: Brandon Cottom, Maddy Pomilla and Kane Fritzler.
In an extremely smart move, Brandon made the decision to play his hidden immunity idol, ultimately cancelling out Maddy’s and Kane’s votes that were going to send him home!
As a result of this, Brandon’s vote was the only one that counted for the entire tribal council…
