Speaking of injuries, Bruce’s condition unfortunately worsened over at the Tika tribe…
After experiencing lightheadedness around camp, Bruce received medical assistance once again, and he was ultimately asked to leave the game by both the Survivor medical team AND Jeff Probst. In tears, the 46-year-old was removed from the game in a stretcher, creating an extremely emotional moment for his tribemates AND for viewers at home.
Fortunately, this is not the end of Bruce Perreault’s Survivor journey!
On the debut episode of Jeff Probst’s new Survivor podcast, On Fire with Jeff Probst, which airs every Wednesday immediately after the new episode, the beloved host made a HUGE announcement.
“In the spirit of what Survivor is all about — getting up off the couch, leaving your ordinary world behind, your family, your friends, left to fend for yourself in the jungle and say yes to adventure — I don’t think Bruce got his fair share of Survivor,” Probst shared.
“We are officially inviting Bruce to play Survivor again,” he continued with excitement. “First player of the new era invited back. It’s kind of exciting. It just felt like the right call.”
We can’t wait to see Bruce back in action, whenever that may be!
