If there’s one thing Tammy knows, it’s how to turn life’s ups and downs into music that speaks to the soul. The multifaceted singer, songwriter, and founder of #TGIT (Thank God It’s Today!) is back with her third single, and let’s just say, it’s a game-changer.

Tammy is no stranger to writing from the heart. After nearly losing her life to domestic abuse, she turned her pain into power, using her music and platform to spread positivity and hope. Her latest single, co-written with hit songwriter Corey Lee Barker and produced by Zac Maroof of Ran Red Productions, is a heartfelt ballad dedicated to anyone who has ever longed for real, unconditional love.
“The message that this song brings is the lifetime of waiting for the very right person,” Tammy tells Celeb Secrets in an exclusive interview. “We have all endured the wrong ones, and some have been lucky enough to always have the right ones. This song is for those of us that have searched, still search, or have found the one to love them right.”
The Arkansas native, named after country legend Tammy Wynette, has been making waves since dropping her debut single, “God And A Job.” The track quickly amassed over a million Spotify streams, proving that her raw and honest storytelling resonates with fans worldwide. Following that, she gave us “Lovin’ How The Leavin’ Feels,” an anthem of freedom and self-discovery. Now, with “Someone To Love Me Right,” Tammy is letting the world in on the reflection, growth, and emotional strength she’s gained along the way.
So, what was it like creating such a deeply personal song? Tammy says her writing sessions with Corey Lee Barker are pure magic. “Corey and I have a great chemistry that was immediate. We can bounce a song off of one another and finish it in about 30 minutes, and I think that’s truly a gift. He is incredibly talented and seems to see right into my soul and pull the words out to share with the world.”
Of course, pouring your heart out into lyrics isn’t always easy, and Tammy admits that writing “Someone To Love Me Right” came with its emotional moments. “This song brought many tears and much pain, but in the end, I saw the beauty and hope that I could share with others longing for exactly what I longed for as well,” she says.
Tammy also opened up about the deeply personal meaning behind the song. “The greatest thing about writing this song for me is putting into words and music what I have longed for all of my life. Seeing and hearing it come from my soul and my lips and hoping just to let others know that they should wait for someone to love them right also.”
And because Tammy is all about keeping it real, she’s got some words of wisdom for anyone still searching for their person: “Each of us has our own right way to be loved. We need to be true to that and not lower our standards for substitutions that will never fulfill our soul.” Preach!
So, what’s next for this powerhouse? Tammy is set to drop a music video for “Someone To Love Me Right” and is already working on a Father’s Day tribute song in honor of the man who loved her best — her dad. “I am honored to write a song for my Daddy and leave a legacy for him, as he named me after Tammy Wynette, and inspired my love of country music.” Plus, she’s got a six-song EP on the way and plans to hit the studio again for a full-length album. “2025 is time to thrive and time to fly. After all, I am a butterfly.”
