Smith co-founded a successful experience management company called Qualtrics based out of Utah. While Wade, of course, is one of the greatest players in NBA history and accomplished many honors throughout his illustrious sixteen-year career, including winning three championships with the Miami Heat and appearing in thirteen all-star games.
As for who will participate in each team, Smith’s team will contain individuals from different entertainment areas, such as county music star Kane Brown, Hall of Fame wideout Calvin Johnson, and Latin superstar Ozuna.
As for Team Wade, beloved Peloton instructor Alex Toussaint, big-time Latin artist Nicky Jam, and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf will be playing alongside the NBA legend, amongst others. Something of note, Toussaint is the reigning MVP of the game, as he earned the high honor in his debut last season.
An exciting twist to this year’s celeb game is that each team will have multiple coaches on its staff, including the Antetokounmpo brothers helping out Team Wade and rap legend Fat Joe coaching up Team Ryan.
Make sure to catch the big game LIVE tonight, February 17th beginning at 7PM ET on ESPN.
