Gabby’s Emotional Hometown Visit
Gabby has become a fan-favorite for being truly authentic and funny, and viewers were able to see exactly where Gabby gets her personality during this special hometown visit.
Before Clayton met her loved ones, she planned a date true to her hometown of Denver, Colorado — a hike in the Rocky Mountains. The couple joked around and eventually made their way to a scenic point called “Proposal Rock,” which of course Gabby poked fun of by saying, “did you bring my ring?”
The two then got into a romantic hot tub where Gaby told Clayton that as much as she wanted her dad to be there, he wouldn’t because his girlfriend is really sick and with COVID still surging, they did not want to risk it.
Clayton was able to meet Gabby’s grandpa, aunt, uncle, and cousin. Gabby gets her personality from her grandpa as he joked around with both her and Clayton. The night was going well, however, it was a fairytale moment when a honking of a car horn prompted the 30-year-old ICU nurse to run outside to a surprise visit from her father.
Gabby’s father did a Love Actually moment, as he got out of the car with poster board that shared how proud he is of her as well as his hopes of eventually meeting Clayton face-to-face.
The night ended with Gabby telling Clayton that she loves him. He seemed super happy with her sharing her feelings and joked that maybe he has been waiting for that all along.
