Rachel Joins Clayton On-Stage
Rachel shares how hard it was to know how in love with Clayton she was. She explains how watching it back she just feels as though she was completely blindsided and disrespectful.
She tells Jesse that she is getting emotional, but not because of lingering feelings. She explains how she fought all the way to the end for the person that she thought she loved. She really believed that it was going to be her in the end.
Jesse asked Rachel if she had any feelings to which she replied, “I do not have feelings for him anymore.”
Rachel starts off by saying that she became “collateral damage” in Clayton’s journey to find love. She thinks that Clayton was so disrespectful for what he did to her and Gabby. Clayton apologized for the assumptions he made throughout his journey. Rachel responded, “I just don’t believe you.”
Rachel also hit the same point Gabby did when she said that he wasn’t transparent because he knew who the one was, but kept both women anyway. That’s when Jesse asked Rachel’s parents specifically her dad, Tony if they had anything to say to Clayton. Tony told Jesse, “I have plenty of things I want to say, but I’m not going to say anything, because my wife told me told me don’t say anything unless it’s something good.” That’s when Rachel’s mom interjected and said, “No, I didn’t say that because I don’t have good things to say either. I’m very angry myself. Clayton took the time to apologize to Rachel’s parents and Rachel, herself.
Rachel ended the conversation with one last tough question saying, “Did you tell me that you were in love with me because you wanted to sleep with me.” Clayton responded “No” and Rachel refused to believe him.
