The First Rose Ceremony
As tension filled the room, the men lined up to hear whether or not they would be embarking on their crazy journey to find love. Young slowly started calling names of men who left an ever-lasting first impression. Alex, Brandon J., Casey, Chris G., Chris S., Clayton, Daniel, Jamie, Leroy, LT, Martin, Mollique, Olumide, Pardeep, Peter, PJ, Rick, Rodney, Romeo, Spencer, Will, and Joe all received a rose.
Young was struggling with her internal emotions when she was down to the final rose. She made it clear that she wasn’t positive if she wanted to keep Joe or send him home. Earlier in the episode, they mentioned that they had a romantic relationship in Minnesota before being named the Bachelorette. The unofficial relationship between the two was apparently short-lived, as Joe ghosted her and was not mentally available to pursue a relationship at the time.
After handing over the final rose to Joe to give him a second chance – Young said goodbye to Brandon K., Bryan, Edward, Garrett, Jack, and JoMarri.
