The First Impression Rose

After the limo entrances, Young gave a touching speech to kick off the cocktail party. She made it clear that she is looking for a man who can support her in her teaching ventures, someone who is loving, caring, and authentic.

Following the well-said toast, she was immediately swept away by several contestants hungry for one-on-one time. However, Nayte Olukoya from Austin, Texas, won over her heart with his positive and genuine personality.

When Nayte pulled Young aside to chat, he opened up about himself and warned her that he struggles with being vulnerable. However, he confirmed that he was going to try his best to be transparent with his feelings. When it was time to gift the first impression rose, Young surprised Nayte and thanked him for being himself.

The two sealed the deal with a passionate kiss (the first of the season). Following the intimate moment, Michelle confessed that she felt “Sparks and butterflies.”
