Episode three of season 17 of The Bachelorette will go down in history, as the ABC franchise also sparked a conversation around the meaning of “consent” and sexual assault for the very first time. The fan-favorite television show provided resources for those who have experienced sexual assault to go along with the sensitive topic.
Throughout the episode, Katie Thurston proved she was courageous, outspoken, and not putting up with unnecessary drama. So, she cracked down and put on her investigative journalist hat in order to find out which remaining men have ulterior motives. However, the evening cocktail party took a sudden turn and was cut short due to Karl spreading rumors.
