Does the name Ben Higgins ring a bell? Well, you may remember the heartthrob as one of the most beloved Bachelors in the history of the ABC franchise. After failing to win over Kaitlyn Bristowe’s heart on season 11 of The Bachelorette in 2015, the Colorado native was asked to be the leading man of season 20 of The Bachelor.
During his journey to find love, Higgins connected with Lauren Bushnell and runner-up, JoJo Fletcher. Higgins and Bushnell got engaged on the show but called it quits in 2017. Now, the Generous Coffee co-founder is happily engaged to Fiancée, Jessica Clarke and ready to take on a new chapter of his life.
On Monday, June 1, New York Times best-selling author, podcaster, and founder of That Sounds Fun Podcast Network, Annie F. Downs broke the news that the organization will be taking on a new podcast with The Bachelor’s, Ben Higgins.
The recently released audio show is called Hope Still Wins, which will feature inspiring trailblazers.
“Hope Still Wins is a place where influential thought-leaders share personal stories that have helped shape their current view on hope,” says Downs in a recent statement. “Ultimately answering the questions, “Does hope still win? Why or why not?” the stories are meant to serve, inspire, and connect, becoming a better and more hope-filled world, together.”
It’s no surprise that Higgins launched a podcast centered around faith and hope, as he has always been very vocal on social media about his beliefs. In fact, the host told People that he and his Fiancée have decided to abstain from sex before marriage. The happy couple has yet to sleep in the same bed and they won’t live together until they exchange vows.
Throughout the pandemic, the Bachelor alum also used his voice to spread his message on Instagram. He used his platform as an avenue to find his own purpose and started weekly live streams called ‘Hope Still Wins.’ To reach new heights, he decided to take the next big step and turn the successful live stream into a podcast.

“This show holds a sacred place in my heart,” says Higgins on Instagram. “I hope in the midst of your weeks you find time to listen and it gives you the space to rest, learn, and grow alongside me as we welcome and hear from guests who have stories to share and wisdom to impart.”
As of right now, there are only two episodes out. Will you be checking out this podcast? Let us know your thoughts by leaving a reaction below or by sending us a tweet at @celebsecrets.
