The Cast of ‘Zombies 3’ Reveal New Film is “Explosive,” “Interstellar” and “Epic” (Exclusive)

It’s been two years since we’ve seen Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly and the rest of the gang from Seabrook High on our TVs, as Zombies 2 dropped on Disney Channel back in February 2020. But tomorrow, the story will continue, as Zombies 3 will be out for the world to see beginning at midnight on Disney+!

“It’s like we never left,” said Milo to Celeb Secrets reporter Ilana Epstein in an exclusive interview when asked about coming back to film Zombies 3 after the two year break.

The film shows Zed and Addison’s final year at Seabrook High. After a crazy year with the arrival of werewolves, Zed and Addison are ready for a normal year all together, with zombies, werewolves, and humans alike. Zed is attempting to win an athletic scholarship, which will allow him to be the first ever Zombie to attend college. Yet, his so-called “normal” school year is interrupted by the arrival of extraterrestrial beings who come to Seabrook and discover something shocking.

The third film of the series reveals three new characters played by Matt Cornett, Terry Hu, and Kyra Tantao. The three, who play aliens in the new film, were incredibly grateful and excited to join the family.

Hu, who is representing a nonbinary character, shared that it was incredibly easy to mesh in with the already established cast because of how welcoming they were.

“It instantly just felt like home,” added Cornett when asked about joining so late in the franchise.

Meg and Milo agreed that all cast members clicked instantly and became so close after working together on set.

A variety of themes are shown in the new film including diversity and the message of bringing people together. Themes of unification are carried over throughout all three of the films, however, new themes are also shown when Zed opens up the possibility of college to zombies everywhere.

This film makes new history, as Kylee Russell’s character, Eliza, is displayed completely virtually. When the trailer was released back in June, many fans thought that Kylee filmed while pregnant. However, in an interview with Celeb Secrets, Kylee revealed that she had her baby and then filmed for two days straight, a few weeks after delivery.

“It was the hardest but most fun thing,” she shared.

Keeping with Zombies tradition, the movie includes numerous dance numbers.

“In this movie, all the dances are so much bigger and better,” said Milo.

When Celeb Secrets asked if they could describe the new movie in one word, the cast replied with words like intergalactic, impactful, explosive, cosmic, interstellar, and epic, making us count down the hours until we can watch on Disney+.
