The American indie-pop band is back at it again with another banger.
Multi-platinum group Echosmith is continuing their era of new music with brand-new single “Hindsight.” The song is about the importance of living in the moment – taking in each second from the rearview so that we don’t miss the beauty that lies in front of us right now.
The track follows previously released singles “Gelato” and “Hang Around.” Each song displays Sydney Sierota‘s jaunty vocals, impeccable songwriting, and production skills from both Noah Sierota and former band member Jamie Sierota.

Echosmith’s new music is full of life and fresh beginnings – introducing a new era of creative freedom and career independence. Their pop blanket is pulled back, allowing the group to encompass their true indie spirit and steer more towards an alt-pop route that represents their original musical heart.
Last year the band’s most popular single, “Cool Kids” had a major surge on Tiktok – going viral with a whopping four million videos made to the sound. In light of it’s resurgence, the band released a revamped version of the hit, labeled “Cool Kids (our version).” The re-released track has a bit more of an alternative edge to it, perfect for the band’s new reimagined sound.
The message behind the track is still as relevant as it was a decade ago – lyricism pertaining to self-acceptance and self-love is crucial, with struggles to meet societal norms and feeling as though you need to “fit in.” Echosmith’s sound is one that people resonated with then and now, and we can’t wait for what’s to come from the band!
