Demi Lovato is now living her truest self, and we are so happy for her!
With the fourth and final episode of her YouTube documentary, Dancing With The Devil, finally released, Lovato’s honest story about her journey is now out in the open. The documentary covered her long history with alcohol and drug abuse, what happened the night she overdosed, and the truth about where she’s at in her life at this very moment.
The final episode of the series brings us to the story of present-day Demi. We see her at the beginning of the year 2020 excited about her engagement to Max Ehrich, showing self-tapes of Lovato at her home excited about being engaged and then cutting to a few months after when she called off the engagement. She also adds that she feels that she’s “too queer to marry a man in [her] life right now.”
Along with Lovato’s reincarnation and rebirth, she was also honest with her audience and loved ones that she isn’t entirely sober right now. She talks about how she’s trying to balance and control it all, but she’s not hiding anything about it anymore.
In her journey to finding control, the singer took the big step of cutting her hair. We got a first look at her hair when she went to promote the docu-series on The Ellen Show, but in the final episode, we got to see the entire mental and physical process of Lovato’s haircut.
The Dancing With The Devil era is truly the rebirth of Lovato’s self, her documentary speaks her truth, but with her album, you can feel her truth.
