Aside from interacting with your favorite digital creators at VidCon 2023, Celeb Secrets got the opportunity to check out The Lodge: A Paramount+ Experience after its extreme success earlier this year.
The beloved activation made its debut in early 2023 with a successful tour in Mammoth, California and Steamboat Springs, Colorado, as well as Austin, Texas during this year’s SXSW, highlighting the a few of the streaming service’s most popular movies and TV shows.
After its record-breaking success, The Lodge: A Paramount+ Experience took over the Anaheim Convention Center’s show floor (Booth #339) from 9 AM to 6:30 PM this past Thursday (June 22) through Sunday (June 25), creating a fun experience for ALL movie and TV-lovers.
With the one-of-a-kind experience, attendees were able “to explore the iconic Krusty Krab from Spongebob Squarepants, get their very own key to Zoey’s bedroom from Zoey 101 and Zoey 102, walk the hallways with School Spirits, step inside the beloved iCarly studio” and more.
To begin the activation, guests were able to go inside of the Krusty Krab and “become fully immersed in Bikini Bottom with Spongebob and his friends. A photo moment with a take-home polaroid [was] available at the memorable checkout boat,” with the friendly Paramount+ staff snapping a few pictures to keep as a souvenir.
Also within The Lodge: A Paramount+ Experience, there was a replica of the iconic door from Zoey 102, featuring a collage of photos from Zoey 101 that has us feeling ALL of the nostalgia.
Guests were “given their very own key mimicking Zoey’s key necklace from the original series. The key grant[ed] them access inside the ultra instagrammable room filled with pink balloons, a wedding guest book to sign and Zoey’s pink vespa” — We even snapped a few Instagram pics for ourselves!
Speaking of popular TV shows from our childhood, fans were able to “step inside the iCarly studio and choose from a select variety of different props to take to the stage and create their own content for their audiences.”
VidCon is ALL about content creation, so this was an extra special experience for all aspiring YouTube and/or TikTok stars who attended the convention this year.
After soaking in the fun of SpongeBob SquarePants, Zoey 101 and Zoey 102 and iCarly, the activation even featured a spookier setup that gave all attendees the chills…
Guests were given the opportunity to walk down the infamous School Spirits hallways, “filled with easter eggs from the series and ‘Missing Maddie’ posters, where a camera [was] there to tape their stroll.”
Getting to immerse ourselves into some of the streaming service’s most popular movies and TV shows was truly a one-of-a-kind experience, allowing us to connect with some of Paramount+’s beloved programs more than ever before.
