Tom Parker, known for being in The Wanted, has died at age 33 after his battle with cancer.
The singer was diagnosed with stage four glioblastoma two years ago. According to the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, glioblastoma is a form of a brain tumor that can cause headaches, seizures, changes in personality among many other symptoms.
The announcement of the singer’s death came from Parker’s wife, Kelsey. In the Instagram post from Wednesday (March 30th), Kelsey confirmed Parker had passed with family at his side.
She captioned the post by saying, “Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence. We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children.”
She ended with, “Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end. I’m forever proud of you ❤️💫✨❤️ ”

The black and white photo of the singer was also accompanied by a photo of Parker and his family. Kelsey and Tom said “I Do” in 2018 and had two beautiful children, Aurelia Rose (2), and Bodhi Thomas (1).
The Wanted also took to social media to share their thoughts on the singer’s passing. They shared, “Tom was an amazing husband to Kelsey, and father to Aurelia and Bodhi. He was our brother, words can’t express the loss and sadness we feel. Always and forever in our hearts.”
It was just earlier this month that Parker joined his bandmates on stage for their final performance on the Most Wanted: The Greatest Hits U.K. reunion tour in Liverpool. Parker’s last post was a photo from that performance where he captioned it, “Dream Team❤️ ”
