Tiffany Haddish grew up in the foster care system and now she is ready to adopt a child!
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Haddish opens up about how the pandemic and Foster Care Awareness Month has inspired her to think about adopting. “There are so many children left without their parents. There are a lot of people that need to be loved,” shares the comedian.
The Kids Say The Darndest Things host, reveals that she has completed the required classes needed to start the adoption process. She also shared that she wants to adopt a child who is age five and up, as she is looking for a kid who already knows how to communicate and use the restroom. So, that she can teach them everything she can about the world.
“All I want to do is pour knowledge in … get them ready for the big, bad world. That’s what I want to do,” says Haddish.
Haddish has opened up about how she has been contemplating between being a foster parent or adopting.
“I really wanted to be a foster parent, but because I’m at a certain level of success, my lawyer suggested that it’s probably best to just adopt, and I’m on that process now,” says the star after seeking advice from her lawyer.
Tiffany has proved that she would make a perfect Mom, as she is always supportive and kind to the children that appear on Kids Say the Darndest.
