Get ready for more spaghetti tacos and random dancing! Nickelodeon announced that the highly-anticipated revival of iCarly is now officially in production.
That’s not the only thing they revealed — the network also shared that there will be two new cast members joining the series. In addition to Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress, and Jerry Trainor reprising their roles as Carly Shay, Freddie Benson, and Spencer Shay, respectively, Laci Mosely will be joining the cast as Harper, Carly’s (Cosgrove) roommate, and best friend. Also joining is Jaidynn Triplett as Millicent, Freddie’s (Kress) snarky and social media-savvy stepdaughter!
The show will follow Carly and her friends almost ten years after the show initially ended. We’ll watch our beloved characters do their best to navigate work, love, and family throughout their twenties. Just like we watched these characters grow up throughout high school, we’re going to see them go through a new phase of their lives and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
The iCarly revival is currently in production in Los Angeles and is slotted to come to our TV screens THIS summer! The 13-episode season will be streamed exclusively on Paramount+. We can hardly wait for the new series, but I guess for now we’ll just rewatch our favorite iCarly episodes until then.
