The Vikings come into this matchup just days after being annihilated at home by the Dallas Cowboys 40-3; that loss came after a seven-game winning streak. As for the Pats, they go into this holiday primetime showdown after beating the Jets 10-3 in week eleven.
The Vikings are 8-2 on the year and will look to bounce back against a great defense in the Patriots. Minnesota must look to improve their protection on the offensive line as they were entirely manhandled by the Dallas Cowboys defense; the pass rush in New England is also elite, led by outside linebacker Matthew Judon who currently has the most sacks in the league at 13.
With that said, the Vikings defense also had a terrible showing in week eleven but has shown more good than bad throughout the season and will need much more good moments in week twelve to give their team a better chance of winning.

As for New England, although they did beat the Jets in week eleven to improve to 6-4, their offense was nowhere to be found, and the elite performance of their defense was almost wasted as it was for the Jets with the game ending 10-3 as the Patriots won on an 84-yard punt return touchdown by rookie returner Marcus Jones with just five seconds left in the fourth quarter; that was the first punt return touchdown of the season in the NFL.

If the Patriots can establish a consistent running attack and Mac Jones can step up his game, they may be able to steal a road victory on Thanksgiving.
The Patriots will be without starting right tackle Isaiah Wynn; the Vikings will be without second-year left tackle Christian Darrisaw, rookie cornerback Andrew Booth, and fellow cornerback Akayleb Evans.
As for some predictions, we believe the Patriots will win 20-13. We also believe Matthew Judon will have two sacks, and Rhamondre Stevenson will rush for at least one touchdown.
