Tyler Chambers Talks Being His Authentic Country Self on Debut EP “Country Don’t Come Out” (Exclusive)

Tyler Chambers is ready to tell his true, authentic story.

The budding country crooner dropped his first-ever EP, Country Don’t Come Out earlier today (April 5), marking his first project since signing to the Dallas Davidson-helmed Play It Again Entertainment.

“It’s an incredible privilege to say that I have music out in the world that represents what it does to me,” shares Chambers in a statement. “This project is a melting pot of my life’s ups and downs and is something I know I will always be able to look back on and acknowledge as my biggest accomplishment in this town so far.”

Featuring “Roads I Go Down,” featuring Dylan Marlowe, focus track ‘’Didn’t Love Her If You Don’t,” and the title track, Chambers’ new EP pays homage to Chambers’ small town roots and showcases his emotionally driven vocals that compliment his authentic storytelling.

“I feel like this project took me a decade to write to be honest. The past 10 years I’ve spent between Tennessee, Wyoming and Georgia honing in creatively and taking as much as I can from the ups and downs,” Tyler tells Celeb Secrets. “There are things about myself that are never going to change… And being country is definitely one of them! I also hope people can hear the heartbreak stuff and know they aren’t alone. Everybody needs somebody at some point.”

Celeb Secrets catches up Tyler (virtually) to learn more about his debut EP and the creative process behind it, the story it’s trying to tell, his products moments and more. The budding country crooner also teases his plans for the rest of the year while spilling secrets from the record!

Celeb Secrets Country: Your new EP “Country Don’t Come Out” is here! How does it feel knowing that your new EP which you worked so hard on is finally out for people to hear?

Tyler Chambers: “It’s humbling that I get to do something like this at all, much less with the people that I am doing it with. This EP is a success for me regardless of the numbers or what happens from here. I just feel really thankful.”

CSC: For those who haven’t had the chance to take a listen yet, how would you describe this body of work?

TC: “I would describe it as something that just makes you feel something in general. It’s an emotional journey from top to bottom. If you like sad country songs but also have a thing for playing steering wheel drums, you’ll probably like it!”

CSC: We know that it’s your first-ever EP… can you detail what the process was like making this project?

TC: “I feel like this project took me a decade to write to be honest. The past 10 years I’ve spent between Tennessee, Wyoming and Georgia honing in creatively and taking as much as I can from the ups and downs.”

CSC: What’s the story you’re trying to tell with this project?

TC: “That there are things about myself that are never going to change… And being country is definitely one of them! I also hope people can hear the heartbreak stuff and know they aren’t alone. Everybody needs somebody at some point.”

CSC: Do you have a proudest moment from making Country Don’t Come Out? If so, what was it?

TC: “Probably the day we wrote ‘Roads I Go Down.’ We instantly knew it was going to be special.”

CSC: Is this EP setting the precedent for what’s to come from you musically? How would you describe the current era you’re in at the moment?

TC: “Yes and no. I’m always wanting to grow, get better, and try new things. But, like I said earlier, being country isn’t something I plan on changing. The production could change a bit in the future but I don’t plan to pivot from a creative standpoint. Just gonna keep writin’ country songs.”

CSC: What’s next for the rest of the year? Any upcoming shows or more music on the horizon?

TC: “Definitely more music! And hopefully a tour in the fall.”

CSC: What are some goals you’d like to achieve in 2024?

TC: “I would like to sign a booking deal and double my streaming.”

CSC: Since we’re Celeb Secrets, do you have any secrets from making this EP that we wouldn’t know just by listening to it?

TC: “Dylan and I may or may not have sang the same words on roads I go down…”
