Tyra Madison Gets Real with New Single “Party Girl” – Her Most Vulnerable Anthem Yet (Exclusive)

Country music is in its hot girl era, and Tyra Madison is here to prove it with her latest powerhouse single, “Party Girl” —a song that delivers raw emotion wrapped in a deceptively fun, high-energy package.

Beneath the glitter and good times, “Party Girl” is a reminder that it’s okay to not be okay, and Tyra is giving a voice to every girl who’s ever smiled through the pain.

“I can’t lie, I have definitely been the girl that cried in the bar bathroom and then walked out like everything is okay,” Tyra tells Celeb Secrets in an exclusive interview. “I wrote ‘Party Girl’ as a reminder that it’s okay not to be okay. We’re all human. We all go through things.”

With deeply relatable lyrics, “Party Girl” peels back the layers of the party scene to reveal the struggles many hide behind a cocktail and a good time. One line in particular hits home for Tyra: “Pick up that rose-colored lipstick, paint your smile back on.”

“That lyric has a double meaning,” she explains. “Yes, I’m talking about the color of a lipstick, but we also wrote it referring to rose-colored glasses—seeing positively and ignoring the negative, which is what ‘Party Girl’ is about.”

Beyond just a song about heartbreak, “Party Girl” is an anthem of resilience. “This song blends heartbreak with empowerment,” Tyra shares. “When I go through a tough moment, I turn it into a main-character moment by surrounding myself with the people I love, working on myself, and getting some much-needed therapy. I want girls to know that they’re not alone in their struggles.”

Produced by Jason Haag and written by Marla Cannon Goodman and Dustin Christensen, the track not only tugs at heartstrings but also continues Tyra’s streak of delivering empowering anthems that balance heartbreak with resilience.

To celebrate the release, Tyra is hosted a Blind Tyraoke Night on February 28 at The Blueprint Underground Cocktail Club in Nashville, where fans can belt out their favorite tunes with a mystery twist.

“The first ever Blind Tyraoke Night was a success!! ” Tyra said in an Instagram post following the event that featured a fun recap video highlighting the best moments. “Special thanks to @stringsforhope for being apart of this event & @blueprintcocktailclub for being the best host .”

Hailing from Pine Top, Kentucky, Tyra’s journey to country music stardom started at just four years old, strumming bluegrass tunes with her papaw, mamaw, and uncle. Fast forward to today, and she’s making waves with millions of streams on hits like “Right Girl Wrong Time,” which skyrocketed thanks to TikTok.

“Social media has been good to me,” Tyra shares. “During COVID, we artists couldn’t perform live, so I worked hard at growing my social media. I’ve had comments saying how ‘Party Girl’ was relatable to them, and that was my goal—to write songs that connect with people.”

Tyra is no stranger to the spotlight, having performed alongside Brad Paisley, ERNEST, Maddie & Tae, and Priscilla Block. But her dream collabs? Post Malone and Tate McRae. Oh, and did we mention she once performed “Whiskey Lullaby” with Brad Paisley? Casual.

As country music experiences a girl power takeover, Tyra is all for it. “I love that the girls are killing it recently. Each woman brings something unique to the table, and I think we’re taking over just like pop music did.”

If “Party Girl” had a signature cocktail? Tyra says it would be a cosmopolitan — “It starts out cute and bubbly, but if you have too many, you could end up in the bathroom, just like in the song.”

And if she could cast a celeb in a music video for the track? Sydney Sweeney — because that iconic Euphoria bathroom scene is chef’s kiss for capturing the song’s essence.

Above all, Tyra wants fans to know that vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness. “We live in a social media world where we only see the highlights, but life isn’t perfect. Everyone has insecurities and flaws, but that’s what makes us who we are. Own it.”

Before you go stream “Party Girl” on repeat, here’s a little behind-the-scenes tea: Tyra’s dress from the single cover? Snapped in half. Yep, wardrobe malfunction at its finest. “Thankfully, I had already wrapped the shoot when it happened, but yep — it totally broke.”

Tyra Madison is here to stay, and with “Party Girl,” she’s proving that country music’s next big star might just be the girl crying in the bathroom — before walking out like nothing happened.
