With Super Bowl LVI right around the corner, players are bringing their A-game to the field – leaving CBS and Nickelodeon to team up once again to capture the heart. Following the huge success of the NFL Wild Card Game last year on Nickelodeon, the Emmy award-winning production is making a return to TV screens nationwide and will be featuring the best sports announcers in the business.
That Girl Lay Lay star Gabrielle Nevaeh Green and NFL Slimetime commentator Young Dylan are set to host the Nick-ified game today, January 16. The family-friendly presentation will showcase one-of-a-kind kid-focused content and Nickelodeon-themed elements. For instance, the iconic orange blimp, SpongeBob-inspired goalposts, to even neon-green sticky slime.

“You’re going to see incredible visual effects,” shared Green in an exclusive Celeb Secrets interview. “The effects will be even more vivid, even brighter than last year, and some will look even more real. So, hopefully, you are not going to be able to tell what’s real and what’s not,” she added, full of excitement.
While this is not Green’s first time taking a jab at sideline reporting, CBS’s sport’s analysts Nate Burleson and play-by-play announcer Noah Eagle will be stepping in to sharpen her skills and to show Young Dylan how to navigate the game in-person.

“Nate and Noah really took me under their wing,” revealed the young actress about the premiere of the first-ever NFL Wild Card Game. “They taught me how to kind of handle myself up in the booth and showed me all the buttons to push. We also just kind of figured each other out and figured out each other’s energy. That’s what we are bringing this weekend… is out chemistry.”
She continued to open up about her mentor-like relationship with the seasoned professionals and how their valuable guidance has helped her skills skyrocket to the next level.
“Nate and Noah have been extremely supportive, and we have kept in contact throughout the year. So, it’s really exciting to be back with them this year. Of course, Dylan and I are friends, and we have really great chemistry already. They have given us the advice of just to have fun, go with the flow, and to continue to interject our personalities into the broadcast.”
As they tackle the role of sideline reporters, they have two goals in mind: to be the powerful “voice for the teens” and slime their favorite players after the fun-filled battle. Both Dylan and Green will be breaking down the complex game in simple terms and teaching young sports fans the rules of football.

“I would like to slime George Kittle and Deebo Samuel on the 49ers, and on the Cowboys, I would like to slime Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, and Trevon Diggs,” says Young Dylan with a secretive smile ear to ear. Green did not hesitate to agree, as she would also like to slime Diggs because she hopes his son would run out on the field and poke fun.
To go along with their sticky surprise, Young Dylan will also be announcing the MVP at the end of the game. “I’m looking forward to seeing all the players, I only went to one football game my whole life, and I am a major football guy. I can’t wait to see it, and I’m on the sidelines ––that’s the best seat, man,” the energetic host concluded.
