The 2021 Kids’ Choice Awards are only two days away, and Young Dylan — aka Dylan Gilmer — could not be more excited about it.
The 11-year-old actor, rapper and Nickelodeon star has a lot to look forward to this Saturday. Aside from participating in the show, Dylan is nominated for an orange blimp in the “Favorite Male TV Star” category for his role in Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan.
“I cant believe it,” Dylan shared with Celeb Secrets regarding the honor in a recent interview. “It’s my first [KCAs], so that’s why I’m so excited to get slimed or get the blimp.”
When we asked who he would thank in his acceptance speech, Gilmer joked that his “40-minute long speech” would include his family, Nickelodeon, Ellen DeGeneres, Tyler Perry and of course his fans who stuck with him from the beginning.
“I’m gonna thank so many people,” he shared, jokingly adding, “My script is [probably] gonna be like 40 minutes long, but I’m not gonna make it that long, though.”
