Zendaya never fails to serve an iconic look!
The Euphoria star stunned the world yesterday (June 27) with her outfit for the 2021 BET Awards. As a heartwarming homage, she wore the same purple and lime green dress that Beyoncé once wore for her performance of “Crazy in Love” at the 2003 BET Awards.
In an Instagram Reel posted by the star’s stylist, Law Roach, we can see the actress strutting and posing for photos as “Crazy in Love” by Beyoncé plays in the background. From his caption, it is revealed that the dress is from the archives of Versace’s Spring/Summer 2003 Collection.

While the dresses are nearly identical, the most notable difference is the length. Zendaya opted for a maxi dress, while Beyoncé wore a mini dress.
Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles-Lawson, posted the comparison to Instagram and said that she actually cut it short for the singer before the awards in 2003. She also praised Zendaya for her rendition, saying, “Love it long on Zendaya with those endless legs 🔥🔥🔥 Work Zendaya 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️ Virgo fierceness!!!!!”
Many celebrities took to social media to react to the star’s jaw-dropping ensemble! In the comments of her Instagram post, her Euphoria co-stars sent their love and admiration for the look. Storm Reid commented, “I wonder what it feels like to be God’s favorite. You are unreal.” Hunter Schafer said, “My jaw dropped. Oh my god.” Alexa Demie simply stated, “thank💚goddess$$ss.”
