Zye Ca$h Says He ‘Wants Love More Than Anything’ and Releases New Song “Love Someone” (Listen)

Stay on the lookout for Zye Ca$h in 2023!

Creating extremely vulnerable and authentic songs, rising country star and Internet sensation Zye Ca$h “want[s] to tell stories of what real love actually looks like” with his hot new track “Love Someone.”

Available on all music streaming platforms TODAY (January 13th), we know you’ll love this song as much as we do after one listen.

Zye Ca$h’s main characteristic, aside from being incredibly talented, is that he is truly as real as it gets. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Celeb Secrets Country, the star-in-the-making shared what impact he wants his music to have.

“Love is an action not just some emotion we carelessly throw out there and then give up on it when we lose our spark. My parents have been together for 39 years and it has not been pretty a lot of the time, but love says keep going,” he shared. “I also like to talk about mental health in my music as well. I lost my brother to suicide in 2017, and it has made a major impact on my life. I always vow to raise awareness and make sure I play my role in helping people who struggle.”

Drawing inspiration from aspects of his personal life, as well as stars like Jason Aldean and NF, Zye Ca$h puts a unique spin on country music. You NEED to keep him on your radar in the new year!

Speaking of Zye Ca$h flourishing in 2023, he already has BIG plans that we are so excited for, with a goal “to be content heavy this year.”

“This year, I will be releasing an EP! It will be my first official EP and ‘Love Someone’ is definitely a part of that,” he revealed to us. “I’ve been holding onto music for years but it’s time for me to show the world what I got!”

In addition to the upcoming EP, Ca$h will be dropping a new single titled ‘Daddy’s Girl’ in the VERY near future.

“Being a single father impacts a lot of my music. I try my best to be a great influence to my daughter, and I want my music to reflect that. I have also written songs about my daughter as well,” he shared.

While we can’t wait to hear Zye Ca$h’s new music, the rising country star also intends on having TONS live performances in 2023, beginning even sooner than you may think.

“My first performance of the year is February 4th in Fredericksburg, VA, where I’ll be opening for Demun Jones,” he revealed to us. “On the 24th of February, I’ll be headlining my own show. My performances are definitely entertaining. I like to have fun on stage and my motto is ‘the more fun I have, the more fun the crowd will have.’ You will also see a showcase of my lackluster dance moves that I can’t help but do when I get excited.”

Celeb Secrets: For people who may not know you yet, can you explain your musical style and a little bit about who you are as an artist?

Zye Ca$h: “I write all of my music, so my songs come from a vulnerable and real place. I enjoy all genres of music but country music is my favorite and has the biggest influence on me.”

CS: Your new single “Love Someone” came out on TODAY (January 13th)! Can you tell us a little bit about the meaning/story behind the track?

ZC: “Honestly, I started writing this song at one of my more depressing times in life. I felt extremely lonely. I am a single dad and work all the time, so I haven’t been able to start my own family which is very difficult for me. I want love more than anything at this point in my life, which is why I say in the song, ‘No, I ain’t done enough until I love someone.'”

CS: The song is said to stay true to “the entire brand of who [you are] as a single father and [your] hope to find love in the future.” How do you think your experience as a single father contributes to your songwriting, overall?

ZC: “Being a single father impacts a lot of my music. I try my best to be a great influence to my daughter, and I want my music to reflect that. I have also written songs about my daughter as well. ‘Daddy’s girl’ will be released in 2023!”

CS: Who/what are some of your musical inspirations either artist-wise or in your personal life?

ZC: “My favorite artist is Jason Aldean. I love his voice as well as lyrically he stands apart to me from a lot of country artists. He seems very unapologetic for who he is, which I can relate to. One of my other biggest inspirations is NF. He is a rapper, but the way he talks about mental health and the ‘real’ struggles in life connects with me like no other artist.”

CS: What stories do you want to tell through your songs in the future, and what message do you want fans to take away from your music?

ZC: “I want to tell stories of what real love actually looks like. It’s not all Fords and daisies. Love is an action not just some emotion we carelessly throw out there and then give up on it when we lose our spark. My parents have been together for 39 years and it has not been pretty a lot of the time, but love says keep going. I also like to talk about mental health in my music as well. I lost my brother to suicide in 2017, and it has made a major impact on my life. I always vow to raise awareness and make sure I play my role in helping people who struggle.”

CS: What does the process look like when you create a song? Are there any quirks to your method?

ZC: “Yes! I do something I like to call the ‘alien language.’ Basically, I put on an instrumental or play some chords and start recording as I freestyle different melodies with a few words sprinkled in. I then go back through and add words to the madness. I don’t do this for some of my deeper, storytelling songs, but I love this process!”

CS: Who is your dream collaboration?

ZC: “My dream collab would have to be NF! It would be an extreme crossover especially since he hasn’t done any music with a country artist, but I think we could create a really impactful track.”

CS: You have amassed over half a million followers on TikTok! How do you think TikTok has contributed to your career, in particular?

ZC: “TikTok has changed my life. My followers there have supported me in so many ways, especially financially. If it wasn’t for them, I would be working a 9-5 and wouldn’t be able to create the way I’ve been able to. It also has given me a great platform where I can get free marketing and promotion since I have a lot of followers. It makes it a lot easier to promote my music and any other projects I release.”

CS: How do you think TikTok is impacting the music industry as a whole?

ZC: “TikTok has opened doors for so many artists including myself. It has also made it so you don’t have to fit into a specific genre. Artists on TikTok are constantly pushing the boundaries of music with diverse sounds and trending songs. It gives independent artists an easier way to get massive listeners without having to go through a label or do traditional marketing.”

CS: Is “Love Someone” part of an upcoming album/EP? If so, give us details!

ZC: “This year I will be releasing an EP! It will be my first official EP and “Love Someone” is definitely a part of that! I’ve been holding onto music for years but it’s time for me to show the world what I got!”

CS: Do you have any plans for live performances in 2023? If so, tell us what fans can expect to see at a Zye Ca$h show!

ZC: “Yes! My first performance of the year is February 4th in Fredericksburg, VA, where I’ll be opening for Demun Jones. Then, on the 24th of February, I’ll be headlining my own show. My performances are definitely entertaining. I like to have fun on stage and my motto is ‘the more fun I have, the more fun the crowd will have.’ You will also see a showcase of my lackluster dance moves that I can’t help but do when I get excited.”

CS: Do you have any other goals for yourself in 2023 career-wise?

ZC: “I am working on getting a self-made tour. Many of my followers want me to come out to where they live and perform so I want to set up some shows around the country in areas where a lot of them are. I am also going to be releasing more singles, videos and an EP. My goal is to be content heavy this year!”

CS: Lastly, since we are Celeb Secrets, do you have any secrets about either yourself or your music that fans might not know?

ZC: “I may have my eye on someone that I think could potentially be ‘my person’ down the road.”
