It looks like James Corden and David Schwimmer will no longer be “friends” after this vicious rap crusade.
The Emmy-nominated comedian and “The Rapping Assassin” went head to head (or should I say mic to mic) on yet another thrilling segment of The Late Late Show‘s Drop the Mic. The two duked it out on Thursday night (May 26) and it was insanely epic!
From Schwimmer’s recent role in the American Crime Story series to Corden’s interesting middle name (SPOILER ALERT: it’s Kimberly), both opponents didn’t show any signs of backing down. Things started heating up when James threw out, “Now it’s time for you to prove you’ve got balls while I ignore you like Jennifer Aniston does your calls”. Oh snap!
After calling the “tourist” out on his weight, Schwimmer spat back, “Destroy me, please. Your rhymes totally blew. I worked with a monkey [that] had more skills than you,” A clear reference to his former character Ross’ pet monkey, Marcel.
The men went back and forth for a couple rounds before Rebel Wilson took to the stage to make a surprise appearance. During her quick cameo, she completely annihilated the two gentlemen at their own game.
“David, your career is a huge mistake it’s like Ross and Rachel – it’s on a break,” she hissed. Wilson then took a rip at Corden and ended the battle swiftly. She slammed, “Carpool Karaoke, you think it’s your big thing. But everyone is thinking shut up and let Adele sing!” Would you like some ice for those burns fellas?
