Selena Gomez is BACK with New Song “Back to You” – Listen Now

Selena Gomez made her musical debut for 2018 with her brand new song, “Back to You” on Thursday (May 10). The song will be featured in the upcoming soundtrack for 13 Reasons Why season two.

The song itself is a bop for sure with its catchy pop beat. When Gomez sings, “You’re stuck in my head, and I can’t get you out of it,” the singer proclaims over an acoustic guitar and a very light, fun almost tropical sound. Clearly, Gomez is having feelings over someone when she sings “I wanna hold you when I’m not supposed to.” We wonder who that mystery man is (*cough* Justin Bieber???? *cough*)!

The song has a very different feel than Gomez’s cover of “Only You,” for the first season of 13 Reasons Why. This is more of a falling in love, uplifting song.

All pre-orders of the soundtrack will include the song, “Back to You.” The soundtrack includes new songs from OneRepublic featuring Logic, Billie Eilish featuring Khalid, YUNGBLUD featuring Charlotte Lawrence, Coloring and Lord Huron featuring Phoebe Bridges, New Order, Echo & the Bunnymen, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Tears for Fears and Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Alarm, Telekinesis and Gus Dapperton.

Gomez premiered the song on Zane Lowe’s Beats1 Radio show calling the song “a special project” that she “wanted to give to Season Two.”

With 13 Reasons Why season two coming in just a week AND Gomez confirming her third album almost finished, are you excited about Gomez’s big return to music? Let us know by leaving your reaction below and sending us a tweet @celebsecrets4u!
