Hey CelebSecrets4U readers,
This past Thursday, May 19th, we headed out to the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles for a very special event! CelebSecrets4U was invited to get the first look at the new Barbie ‘So In Style’ Pastry shoes! Pastry founders Vanessa and Angela Simmons debuted the newest additions to the colorful shoe line along with a sneak peek at the fall So In Style™ Pastry doll collection. So In Style™, is a line of African-American dolls by Barbie®, featuring more authentic-looking facial features such as fuller lips, a wider nose, more distinctive cheek bones and curlier hair. So In Style™ dolls, Grace™, Trichelle™, Kara™ and Chandra™ wore deliciously-fun signature Pastry fashions from head-to-toe.
Pregnant celeb moms Tori Spelling and Ali Landry, and teen stars Cody Simpson, Bella Thorne, Alli Simpson, Jessica Jarrell, and more showed up to celebrate the unveiling of the latest Pastry shoe and doll collection, inspired by Barbie So In Style™ with Pastry founders Angela and Vanessa Simmons, who wore So In Style™ Pastry inspired custom designs by Project Runway’s Chris March. The event was filmed for Chris March’s upcoming BRAVO reality series Mad Fashion. Expectant mothers, Tori and Ali, attended with daughters Stella Doreen McDermott and Estela Ines. The two moms tried to keep up with their excited young daughters as they played with the So In Style™ Pastry dolls. Stella and Estela loved meeting Angela and Vanessa in their custom made dresses!
Check out who was on the red carpet and stopped to chat with us that evening!
