The 2016 Miss America Competition has been in full swing since the 52 hopefuls arrived in Atlantic City last weekend.
During the first of three preliminary nights for the 2016 Miss America Competition in Boardwalk Hall, Miss Iowa, Taylor Wiebers, was named Tuesday night’s preliminary Talent winner for her vocal performance of “Don’t Forget Me” from the musical TV series “Smash.” Taylor will receive a $2,000 scholarship.
Also capturing the spotlight was Miss South Carolina, Daja Dial, who was the preliminary Lifestyle and Fitness winner in a turquoise swimsuit. Daja will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
The national broadcast of the 95th anniversary of the 2016 Miss America Competition will take place on Sunday, September 13 (9:00 -11:00 p.m. ET live/PT tape-delayed), live from Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall on the ABC Television Network.
