It’s absolutely CRAZY to think that eight years ago we were blessed by Simon Cowell with the formation of One Direction, aka one of our favorite boy bands of all time.
July 24th is a day that CANNOT go unnoticed for a Directioner, and a bit of nostalgia hit our hearts when Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Noran took to Twitter to acknowledge the day that changed their lives forever.
Wow, Eight years has passed. Thank you for all the love, thank you for all the support. Thank you for everything.
I love you. H— Harry Styles. (@Harry_Styles) July 24, 2018

The group formed back in 2010 on The X Factor UK. Since then, the band has gone on to to sell millions of album due to hits such as “What Makes You Beautiful” and “Story of My Life.” Consisting of five members — Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and Louis Tomlinson — Malik left the band in 2015 and a hiatus emerged soon after.
Despite One Direction’s indefinite hiatus, each member has pursued solo careers with similar multi-platinum success. HOWEVER, according to the Evening Standard, fans spotted a listing for a “One Direction On the Road Again” concert on Australia’s Ticketmaster website saying a reunion show was scheduled for December 2020. The post has since been removed, but it totally makes sense for a show to happen in 2020 since it would be the band’s 10 year anniversary.
